ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Youth Group: THE EXPLORERS

"All your children shall be taught by the Lord,

Resurrection is proud to offer a group specifically for our Kindergarten through 5th grade youth! This group is called “The Explorers” and is designed to allow children, K-5, to make new friends, have fun, engage in fellowship and learn about Jesus in an enthusiastic and welcoming setting.

 

Our group meets once a month from 4:30-5:30pm in our Parish Hall. Each month we focus on a new Bible story and use games and activities to help reinforce the Bible message and the teachings of Jesus. From “laser” mazes to Bible BINGO, children remain engaged and excited and leave knowing how much Jesus loves them!

additional opportunities

Resurrection is a family-friendly church that welcomes children of all ages to join us for worship. We also offer several additional opportunities for your child.

 

Children’s Sermons are offered during our worship services to help ensure that all children understand the powerful love of Jesus in a way that resonates with them.

 

Children’s Church is offered during our 11 a.m. worship service for children ages 3-6. After the Gospel reading, children are invited to attend children’s church where they will learn about the Bible in a fun, engaging way. They are then invited back into worship after the sermon.

 

Sunday School is available every Sunday for ALL children ages Pre-K through 8th grade. Our program runs throughout the entire year and begins at 9:45 a.m.

 

Our Sunday School Choir is open to our younger children, from Preschool through 2nd grade. The children meet during the Sunday School hour and learn fun, new songs! Our Sunday School choir sings several times throughout the year during our 11 a.m. service, and on special occasions, such as Christmas Eve and Easter. Our Junior Choir is open to our older children, 3rd grade through high school. This choir rehearses each Sunday morning,  9:30-10 a.m. and sings once a month during our 11 a.m. service.
