Four year old prograM
In the four year old program, we continue to focus on socialization, language skills, vocabulary and expression. Letter sounds and the blending of sounds are introduced, which leads to emergent reading and writing. Proper letter formation is also practiced. Math skills and science concepts are introduced and practiced. Expanding of daily vocabulary as well as science and social studies terms is encouraged. Teachers share fiction and nonfiction reading materials with the children.
