Music

There are many ways to become involved musically at Resurrection. Whether you play flute, drums, electric guitar or sing, there are many opportunities for you to use your gifts individually or in a group setting.

Please speak to Ed Dettling to discover additional individual, group, and seasonal music opportunities.

Church Choir

Resurrection's traditional adult choir, rehearses Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:45 pm and sings three times a month in worship. The only requirement to join the choir is that you come ready to make a joyful noise!

If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please speak to our Director of Music, Ed Dettling.

Kids' Choirs

Sunday School Choir

If your child attends Sunday School at Resurrection, then they are already a part of the choir! Children learn exciting songs during the Sunday School hour and sing several times for worship throughout the year. For more information talk to Karen Schoenfeld.

Joyful Praise

Students in 3rd - 8th grade are invited to sing with our Joyful Praise Choir. The choir sings during the 11 a.m. service each month, as well as on Christmas Eve and Easter. Rehearsals are at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. For more information contact Diana Rivkin.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir rehearses Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm and plays handbells occasionally for worship and special events.

If you are interested in joining the Handbell Choir, please speak to our Handbell Director, Ken Meyn.
