Prior to his diaconate studies, commissioning and installation at Resurrection and at THE LIFE, Harry served in many leadership roles within the congregation, including two terms as congregation president and lay delegate to the Atlantic District. He was a key member of Resurrection Ablaze, which planned and orchestrated the planting of THE LIFE Lutheran Church, our site in Old Westbury and chaired call committees responsible for bringing Pr.’s Browning and Vetrano here. In addition, he is influential in several other ministries to our community and beyond, serving on the boards of Lutheran Social Services of NY and the International child advocacy and permanence movement, Both Ends Burning, and participating in special projects for the Atlantic District. He is married to Roxanne and has three adoptive teenagers who are active at Resurrection and THE LIFE.
